Waking Up

I have recently changed my alarm clock to "peace train" by cat stevens. At first I was not sure if this was a good idea because I thought it might ruin the song for me, it however has made waking up so much better. Here are the lyrics enjoy or you can visit youtube and see a great performance of the song.

Now I've been happy lately
Thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be
Something good has begun
I've been smiling lately
Dreaming about the world as one
And I believe it could be
Something good's bound to come

For out on the edge of darkness
There runs the peace train
Peace train take this country
Come take me home again

Peace train sounding louder
Ride on the peace train
Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah
Come on the peace train
Peace train's a holy roller
Everyone jump upon the peace train
Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah
This is the peace train

Get your bags together
Come bring your good friends too
Because it's getting nearer
Soon it will be with you
Come and join the living
It's not so far from you
And it's getting nearer
Soon it will all be true

Peace train sounding louder
Ride on the peace train
Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah
Come on the peace train

I've been crying lately
Thinking about the world as it is
Why must we go on hating?
Why can't we live in bliss?

For out on the edge of darkness
There rides the peace train
Peace train take this country
Come take me home again

Peace train sounding louder
Ride on the peace train
Hoo-ah-eeh-ah-hoo-ah
Come on the peace train

Come on, come on, come on the peace train...

Now on a beautiful note here is a picture that i love. I found it on my sister's blog. It is of me and my aunts. I really love them even if Tyler, my super rude and verbally abusive brother, is right and they don't love me. Also if you will note what a talented photographer my sister Whitney is. She is honestly good at everything. I often tell people Whitney has the golden touch because she makes everything beautiful. Maybe I just aspire to be like Whitney. Who knows maybe I aspire to be my true self whoever that might be.

Whitney has the golden touch that is for sure. I am bugging her to do my mom's 50th bday invites because she is so fancy pants.

Hi Elisa! I am so happy to see that you're blogging again. I will definitely be reading. I was thinking about you just yesterday and realized I hadn't talked to you or heard from/about you for a long time and I missed you. Good to see you!

Elisa! Start blogging again! I used to check your blog all of the time and then one day I was denied access. Thought you went private and didn't tell me ;( Then this morning I checked it again and you had posted!... a few months ago but July was a crazy month, actually my life since july has continued to stay crazy. Moved once in july. baby in august. september was actually fairly calm but now we're moving again back to utah! not many people know... i should probably just be emailing you rather than leaving you a comment. oh well. beej just got a job offer last week but we'll most likely be back beginning of november.
anyway, today when I saw you're posts i sat and read you BEAUTIFUL words - i've always loved whatever you write - and neglected my two year old for a bit while I read. Then he started getting his own food out of the fridge so I had to intervene.
I love your video of last year. I love how the pins turned out that you made your family! I love that you posted about visiting kelly. she is probably just one of my favorite people in the world.
I hope medical school has not been abusing you too badly. I love you. can we hang out when I move back? I was goign to say you can come study at my house but that might be the worst idea I've ever had because it's really only quiet during nap time. miss you and will see you soon!
